The History of the New York Yankees vs The Los Angeles/Brooklyn Dodgers

The first time in history these two teams met was in 1941. Billed as the Subway Series, both teams had some major players. 1941 New York Yankees had,  Joe DiMaggio, Tommy Henrich, Charlie Keller, Phil Rizzuto, Bob Feller and Johnny Murphy. 1941 Brooklyn Dodgers, Dolph Camilli, Pete Reiser, Kirby Higbe, Whitlow Wyatt, Billy Herman, Joe Medwick and PeeWee Reese. The New York Yankees beat the Brooklyn Dodgers 4-1 in the series winning games 1, 3,4 and 5. The attendance for these games were crazy. Game one and two had over 65,000 while games 3-5 had just under 35,000. The would meet again in 1947. One of the big differences this time was it went all 7 games. The 1947 Yankees still had DiMaggio, Keller, Henrich but now they have Yogi Berra. The 1947 Dodgers still had PeeWee Reese, Pete Reiser and Dixie Walker but they now had the rookie Jackie Robinson. The New York Yankees beat the Brooklyn Dodgers 4-3, winning games 1,2,5 and 7.  The year is 1949 and these two are at it ag...

Davante Adams Another Randy Moss?

Image
Breaking news today Davante Adams was traded from the Las Vegas Raiders to the New York Jets for a 2025 third round draft pick. That pick can become a second round pick if Adams becomes a first or second team All-Pro. This decision has finally ended after Adams and Antonio Pierce the Raiders Head Coach have seemed to be at each others throats over a lot of things.  Adams joined the Las Vegas Raiders March 18th 2022 from the Green Bay Packers. He was given a salary of $141.25M for 5 years. Adams was happy to be on the Raiders at the time because he was brought in for Derek Carr. Adams and Carr both played for Fresno State. March 6th 2023 Carr was traded to the New Orleans Saints. And though Adams had the social mentality of "We're the Raiders, Just Win Baby!" he was really ready to leave as the only reason he even went with the Raiders was for Carr.  Now with this trade to the Jets, Adams will be back with Aaron Rodgers. Will the two be able to turn the Jets around? Will...

MLB 2024 Playoff Bracket!

Image
Fall is upon us and football season is going strong but we cant forget baseball season is hitting its playoffs. Now that the wildcard games are in the bag, here is the brackets for the 2024 MLB Playoffs! American League, The Detroit Tigers vs The Cleveland Guardians The Kansas City Royals vs The New York Yankees National League, The New York Mets vs The Philadelphia Phillies The San Diego Padres vs The Las Angeles Dodgers Who do you have winning? As long as who doesn't win you will be happy? Fox Sports says the favorites to win are, Dodgers, Yankees, Guardians and Phillies. Me personally as long as the Yankees don't win I'm good.  I will say our very own Ricky Ramos almost died when the Mets beat the Brewers. It is hard to be a fan sometimes. He is also a Giants fan so again this is huge lol. I'm just busting his balls. Being a Las Vegas Raiders fan I know the hardship of being a diehard fan. EV Sports, The Written Game! Eddie Venom.
